Mulino, OR – June 10, 2014 – Sunstone Circuits®, the leading printed circuit board (PCB) prototype solutions provider, has announced later cutoff times for PCBExpress® Quickturn, PCBpro® Full Feature, ValueProto® and PCB123® printed circuit boards. Cutoff times for PCBExpress Quickturn PCBs and ValueProto have changed from 12pm Pacific/3pm Eastern to 4pm Pacific/7pm Eastern. For the PCBpro Full Feature product, cutoff times have changed from the current 2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern to 4 pm Pacific/7pm Eastern.
The updated lead times allow design engineers all over the country to be able to place their PCB orders later in the day, saving them a day of build time without having to expedite the order. Customers on the West Coast will no longer need to rush their work in order to submit their files by the earlier cutoff times, thus allowing them more time to complete design projects. East Coast customers can also save a day by working a little later into the evening and still submit files to Sunstone. Sunstone’s cutoff times are now all aligned into a simple, straightforward time, 4pm Pacific/7pm Eastern, making it even easier for design engineers to get their PCBs when they need, and want them.
“We understand that many of our customers work under tight deadlines and budgets, and as a result, sometimes work later into the evening,” said Sunstone’s Director of Manufacturing, Nancy Viter. “With the new cutoff times in place, our customers gain an additional 4 hours to put the final touches on designs, and avoid a last minute rush by affording more time to catch costly errors and reduce the need for a second revision. Our commitment to lean manufacturing has allowed us to streamline processes and pass these time savings on to our customers, all the while maintaining the same exceptional service, quality and customer support at no additional cost.”
The new product cutoff times complement a growing suite of PCB solutions from Sunstone which includes the new interactive Quickturn quote form, a real On-Time Guarantee, Bundled Assembly, Slots & Cutouts and Expanded Drill Sizes on PCBExpress Quickturn and PCB123, SMT Stencils with or without nano coating, and ITAR Registration, to name a few. Sunstone has also just launched a new company website, at www.sunstone.com. With all of these offerings, Sunstone Circuits is continuing to differentiate themselves as the preferred comprehensive PCB solutions provider within the marketplace.
