PCB West, the largest conference and exhibition for printed circuit board design, fabrication and assembly in the Silicon Valley is produced annually by UP Media Group.  It is described as a one of a kind opportunity for PCB manufacturers, assemblers and other support services to interact directly with designers and engineers. Early reports suggest that the attendance for this event had significantly grown over last year. Sunstone has made this a priority event over the last several years as a way to touch bases with customers and fellow PCB professionals and has already made plans to participate in 2020.

NEDME, The NW Electronics Design & Manufacturing Expo is held in Sunstone’s own backyard every October in Beaverton, OR.  Started over 15 years ago and originally called Octoberbest, NEDME has welcomed Sunstone as one of many exhibitors from Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. Produced and managed by The Oregon Electronics Manfacturers Association (EMA), this event connects local businesses with engineers, buyers and reps in a fun and educational way.  Sunstone’s own Mathew Stevenson contributed as a conference session speaker, focusing on PCB Design pitfalls.  

Meeting and talking with customers face to face is enlightening – a chance to clarify expectations and update customers with new and existing practices and capabilites.
